ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority N.V.’s (AAA) Air Service Development Manager, Mrs. Jo-Anne Meaux-Arends was invited by Wingo to be present in Medellin for the exciting announcement that the airline partner will add 2 new direct service to/from Medellin, Colombia to their existing service from Bogota, Colombia, and Aruba.
Club Union in San Fernando Plaza (El Poblado) was the chosen venue to make this announcement in the presence of Medellin’s Tourism board and Antioquia’s government representatives and the Colombian press. Present at the press conference were Medellin’s Secretary of Economic Development Mr. Alejandro Arias Medellin Airport’s CEO Mr. Fredy Jaramillo , Wingo’s General Manager Jorge Jiménez , Mrs. Miriam Dabian, ATA’s Latin-American Director and Mr. Jordan Schlipken Croes Business Development Manager Aruba Tourism Authority Latinoamerìca.
“Wingo started service to Aruba back in December 2016 as the 1st Low-Cost Carrier to serve Aruba from Colombia. Providing local and leisure markets with low fare prices, good vibes, and a lot of flexibility. We are passionate about how aviation brings people, cultures, and business together.
