During the Barnyard themed Relations Party:
Aruba Airport thanked its valued partners for 2016
ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) recently held its annual Relations Party and used the opportunity to say thank you to all of its partners for continuing to make the airport successful. It takes many people and many different organizations to manage the day to day complexities of running an airport operation, and 2016 was no exception.
The Barnyard themed event was held at Alhambra Ballroom, and during the festivities, 3 unique awards were handed out on behalf of AAA to highlight outstanding performances in 2016:
ANSA N.V. received the “Airport Partnership Award” from AAA CEO Mr. James Fazio for their numerous accomplishments, including several upcoming investments in air traffic control technology, and for their commitment and dedication to keeping the skies over Aruba safe.
United Airlines has once again received the “Airline Marketing Award” by AAA Air Service Development Manager Ms. Jo-Anne Arends for having delivered 11% additional passengers and 10% more seat capacity in 2016.
Dufry Aruba N.V. received the “Airport Concession Award” from AAA Commerce Manager Mr. Marc Figaroa for their increase in sales with 11% and an overall outstanding performance under the Liquor & Tobacco Concession.
“As we continue to move the Gateway 2030 project forward, the next few years will no doubt be challenging, and fraught with change and inconvenience. However, we know we have the support from our airport partners, and we’ll all be collectively “rolling up our sleeves” with the knowledge that we will have accomplished a tremendous project together, and for an airport everyone in Aruba will be proud of,” said AAA CEO Mr. James Fazio during his speech.
