US Check-in Terminal Process - Opening April 8–28, 2025
Delta, United, Southwest and Spirit (April 8 – 28, 2025)
From April 8 to 28, the new US-Check-In Terminal will serve Delta, United,
Southwest and Spirit passengers.
- Arriving at the Airport
- There will be a new lane and drop-off area for the new US Check-in Terminal.
- Check-in Process
- Follow the route to the new terminal.
- Enter through Entry Door A.
- Check-in via self-service kiosk and proceed to airline counter
- Once checked in, exit via Door B and proceed to the right to Access Control and Aruba Immigration.
- Luggage & Security
- No need to reclaim baggage before US CBP.
- No baggage drop-off required after US CBP.
- Secondary security screening is needed
American Airlines & JetBlue (April 8 – 28, 2025)
From April 8 to 28, the current US-Check-In Terminal will serve American Airlines & JetBlue passengers.
- Passengers from American Airlines & JetBlue will continue checking in at the current US Check-in Hall.
- Passengers must reclaim their luggage before going through US CBP, drop it off after US CBP, and still go through secondary screening.
Full Transition – April 29, 2025
From April 29 onward, the travel process will be smoother for all US-bound passengers:
- No need to reclaim baggage before US CBP.
- No baggage drop-off required after US CBP.
- No secondary security screening is needed.
- Selected screening process to be completed at the main Security Check point when entering the terminal.
This transition aims to provide a more efficient and seamless travel experience for all US-bound passengers.
